Fuck me, im guessing all the players who play for Juve, AC, Lazio and Fiorentina have some kind of clauses in their contract which enables the players to leave for free if the team get relegated. Would be funny as fuck if AC got relegated - Chelsea spend £30 million on Schevchenko when they may have been able to sign him on a freebie Italian footy would probably suffer as a result, and i guess quiet a few of the top name players will move to the premship or la liga

Have heard a few bits and pieces about who is lined up to take over at Juve if they do get demoted, but basically all the players will be on their way out! Can't remember who was being backed to take the manager's position though...

The Italians are only one of two teams in the world cup at the moment who's whole team play in their domestic division, this will change to about 10 if Juve, Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina lose all their players! Maybe some of them are good mates with Wise or Poyet

When this whole thing happened I didn't think that the Italian FA would have the balls to do anything. It was almost too big for them. It looks like Juve will be made the scapegoat and take the big fall with most of their players moving on. I reckon Del Piero will stay though.
When it first broke they were looking into all but 3 Serie A clubs
The mighty Ancona were being investigated too, as they suspiciously lost almost all of their Serie A games in 03/04. Turns out they were just shit though.
It'll be interesting to see what happens tonight though. And also to see how the Juve players get on this afternoon: Nedved, Buffon et al.

Same as,good on the Italian FA i say,tbh anything less than punishing ALL the teams involved would have been shocking. Its been suspected for ages that Juve have bribed the refs, wasn't there a punch up in the Italian parliment over it once? The mighty Ancona were being investigated too, as they suspiciously lost almost all of their Serie A games in 03/04. Turns out they were just shit though.
