I meant in regards to "local" rivalry.

I'm like Tails - I have no hatred for Bristol City etc... I hate Oxford and Oxford only.

:?  Personally I hate Bristol city and Bristol city only, I dislike oxford but can't find the hatred for them as I've never experienced a oxford/swindon game. Although some of their fans did spray water at me on the way to barnsley  :x  But I laughed mostly.

I've neverminded bristol rovers, Infact I tend to look out for them and see how they are doing. Everybody says their fans are really violent but I think citys are much worse!

Nah City fans are just very....primitive.

I hate Oxford much more than City, but I suppose when you know City fans and play them more often it tends to become more of a big thing.

Its quite simple really....historically both sets of fans hate Sh**ty.   So its a case of the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Its not quite that simple really as there has often been some serious trouble with Rovers....certainly more than you'd ever see v O*frod, but generally Rovers fans are a realistic bunch who've never had the delusions of grandeur of the Shitheads.

Something in that definately, north and south of the river are very different places in a lot of ways.  The Cabot used to be my local but I always refused to go and see them play, and I used to love seeing their faces coming out of the ground towards the end of 99/00.  They were doing so well for a while Cheesy

Yes, that's it. I like Rovers because a bloke on an internet forum that i also frequent thinks that his mate is the manager. I knew there was a reason somewhere...
