QPR & Histon call off Dons games Queens Park Rangers have joined Colchester in calling off a planned friendly against Franchise. Some Rangers fans had protested at the fixture because of their opposition to the Dons' relocation from Wimbledon.
Conference South outfit Histon also decided to cancel their friendly with the Dons, following fans' concerns.
QPR chairman Gianni Paladini said: "After several phonecalls and threats from our own supporters, I have decided not to go ahead with the game."
Histon chairman Gareth Baldwin added: "Sometimes ethics and principles have to come before making money."
In 2003, Tottenham, Charlton and Luton all cancelled friendlies against the Dons, following fans' pressure. To the conference next season? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wimbledon/5091984.stm

Not that I agree with what they did AT ALL Well the teams that have cancelled games against them have been down to those Clubs fans writing to the Chairman to show their disgust at playing the Franchise scum.

Was a bit suprised to see Martin Allen is likely to be their new manager. Obviously he wants to be working, but is that the best he can manage?

Yep, totally agree. Time for the MK Franchise Scum to go bust - then it'll be over and not before.

Thing is, for little kids growing up in MK, a football team landing on their doorstep is a dream come true. They must love it!
