possibly the most convincing win of the tournament so far? ukraine aren't a bad side and spain rarely do well in tournaments, but they're looked superb so far.
torres just scored a fucking brilliant goal after a superb team move.

Spain are on fire.....apparently torres had a bid of around £25 million from Man Ure. Hope he doesn't go there. I think he'll be top scorer. Spain always under perform at tounaments, on this performance they could go all the way. Best team i've seen so far without a doubt.

great performance by Spain. David villa scored twice and torres was on fire. senna scored a great goal which was disallowed. Picked up 11 points with this game on my fantasy football. David villa scoring twice. Clean sheet from puyol and him setting up fernando torres. great day

Set up the 4th goal which was superb and then made a superb saving challenge to deny the Ukraine a consolation after Casillas had a rush of blood to the head!

thought the sending off after 47 mins was laughable. ukraine didn't look like they deserved anything but that sending off was plain awful

My prediction was Torres for the golden boot, and he was class today.

you know what i think spain will go all the way. they'll top their group with ease and meet the runners-up of group g, so that's probably going to be the south koreans. if they get through, which is fairly likely, then they'll meet the brazilians in the qf's, if they can beat them i've got a good feeling they'll go on and win it. certainly the most impressive team in the tournament so far, strong in attack, solid and creative in midfield, steady defense and one of the best 'keepers in the tournament. my name is now jaime

It was a great result for Espana, but just as i've not got too worried about our dodgy performance in the first game,i wouldn't start planing the party for Spain either.
