The old late night threads really did use to be ace so I'm going to continue my effort to re-establish the tradition.

So how's everybody's day been?

Last night of my shift, then a week off Cool

Planning to shoot some pool and get an hours worth of bowling in, down at that 3-sided conference dwellers stadium. Apart from that, nothing planned, except football and beer

I've just watched the first ever episode of House. Has this show made it to the UK yet?

Cox:
House is shown on Channel 5 I think, so nobody watches it. Isn't Hugh Laurie and that dude who was one of susan and karl's kid's (Jesse Spencer?) in it?

Village:
It just feels like I'm back home for the typical summer/easter/christmas break at the moment. Hasn't really hit home that, pass or fail, I'm now completely done and have to look into what I'm going to do for the rest of my life.

It is indeed. I strongly recommend anybody watch it. Laurie is the most sarcastic bastard going, it really is compulsive viewing. Its very cleverly scripted and well acted.

The only problem for me, given a number of previous roles he is well known for, Laurie with a crap American accent takes some getting used too. We showed some friends of ours a snippet of Blackadder and they wouldn't believe it was the same guy!

I've got an ace tractor background on my laptop. Not a massive tractor expert myself, but both my parents were bought up in cornwall and seem to be able to discuss the merits of old tractor makes.

Being an urbanite, tractors have never really stimulated the old grey matter in my case.

Is part of my life unfulfilled?
