Henry looks a great bet, especially with France in a relatively easy group. I'd be tempted to put some money on Podolski as well

Adriano at 11/1 looks very tasty and im gonna put £10 each way However i dunno if Brazil will play Kaka, Ronaldo, Adriano and Ronaldinho in the same team at the same time. For longer odds, Podolski, Lukas 33/1, Raul 50/1 and Torres, Fernando 28/1 arent badly priced

Torres looks a good price because Spain have a pretty easy group.
Still Henry at 14/1 is very good odds

How far do you think the team needs to progress in order for one of their players to have a realistic chance of winning the golden boot ? Or better still, how many goals are needed to win the golden boot ?
For example, England have a resonably decent chance of getting to the quater finals or beyond. Its feasable that someone like Crouch or Owen could score at least 3 goals against Trinidad, and could pick up a few goals in the remainder of the games
Holland on the other also have the cabaility of getting to the latter stages of the cup, but its more unlikely for one of their strikers to score shit loads of goals against Argentina, Ivory Coast and Serbia.
Portugal are playing Angola and Iran, so there should be a resonable chance that Pauletta at 28/1 will bag a few goals
Alternatively you could go for a team who are likely to get to the finals (eg Brazil) and hope that the larger number of games they play will increase their chances of scoring more goals.
Spain have got to play Saudia Arabia, big chance of scoring goals there

6, 7 or 8 goals is normally golden boot sort of area.
