Personally i would like them both, and hope Smith is offered and signs a new deal.
Both Smith and Wise are getting on a bit, therefore neither is likely to be able to play much more than 25 to 30 games each. Therefore with both players they can cover for each other meaning there should always be an experianced head in the middle of the pitch. Barring them both being injured at the same time.
