I take the point about the suit / car etc, but there needs to be more people in football who will actually come out and say what they mean bluntly and directly
Football is an entire industry where people skirt round the truth in order to not offend their mates.
As for acting with dignity, 4 days ago Dowie said he wanted to leave to spend more time with his family up north. Today he's Charltons new manager. I'd be pissed off in his shoes as they dont stand to get a penny in compo as Dowie seems to have just lied.

dowie had left charlton, he was unemployed. a job came up (that happened to be a better one) and he took it.
jordan saw an opportunity to get on TV and put himself in the spotlight. like he did when johnson got linked with everyone last summer.
what other chairman go on TV when their players get linked with other clubs? none of them do.
