I have a few pounds took out of my wages every week to buy extra annual leave Spuddy and i donate some to charity cos i'm nice like that.

INCOME TAX - £150.14NAT INSURANCE - £53.04PENSION - £15.61CWU FRIENDLY SOCIETY - £5.34PERSONAL ASSURANCE - £1.41CWU - £2.61

Thats just a standard Royal Mail pension Sussex. I took it out when i was 19 when i joined and didn't really think about pensions etc.
I've started a personal one now though. I could up my Royal Mail pension if needs be but i can't be arsed.

When you look at the projections they send you, of what you get at the end of it all, based on all the financial tosh etc.. I'll be lucky to be on half my current salary unless I put even more in :evil:

i can put upto a max 5% of my wage into my pension. my company then doubles whatever i put in upto a max of 10%.
sounds all good to me but i still can't afford to start one

I probably should look into pensions before I start work. Apparently the company I'll be working for contributes 3.5% of my salary.
