Just watched it on dvd, very harrowing film.

Really makes you realise why the war on terror must continue.

The "War On Terror" is a crock of shit though. Let's bomb the shit out of Iraq/Afghanistan, that'll make people want to bomb us less. Brilliant

Hot, yes. But i'm not sure they're that difficult.  My mate bagged himself a 17 year old virgin on a sunlounger back in July...

I'm not basing my views on anything, jeeze i only said how the film makes you feel!  :-))(

Why do people jump on you so quick on this forum??  Shrug

I personally can't stand the American mentality of 'lets bomb everyone' but i can understand why there has to be a stand against terrorists, they can't get away with it.

What is a terrorist though?

Back in 1930-something, Hitler grabbed a load of land (known as Poland).  The Polish and allies fought back at him to reclaim it all, and are known through history as heroes.

1967, Israel invades and takes over most of Palestine. Nearly 40 years later, they refuse to give it back and have agreed with Bush to unilaterally determine their own borders. Now, this isn't taken too kindly by the Palestinians, who fight with what they have to claim back what is rightfully theirs (Israel is still in conventions of international laws, remember), and yet they are known as terrorists by the USA and a lot of the western world.

These new plans by Israel are described as 'bold' by Bush. Now, would he have said the same about the occupation of most of France in WWII? Probably not.

The Eastern question over Iraq/Palestine isn't really relevant to terrorism on the west though is it?

I used it to differentiate between what is and isn't classed as terrorism. Lest we forget, mandela was also technically a terrorist.

Good point.

I shall withdraw from this debate because of my racist outbursts and preferances for Secretarianism  Cool
