Adi Boothroyd was applying for a manager's position last season and got turned down by....

...Oxford Utd.

What a shame, he goes up to the Premiership whilst the shit go down to non league, brilliant!!  They were better off with Talbot eh?

Not really, get it together you lot. Kassam would have probably got slated if he did appoint him- no experience, cheap option etc.

Most Watford fans were against the appointment. Hindsight and all that.

They might be. That's like saying we'd win the league if we had Mourhino.

How can you possibly compare the 2 clubs, other than that they play in yellow?

Fuck, Iffy might walk his next team to promotion by March, thats not to say he did much good here...

Obviously theres no proof either way and we'll never know.

The basis for the comment is Boothroyd > Talbot. I dont think many people are going to argue with that with the hindsight of Boothroyds 1st season

But prior to the appointment, Talbot > Boothroyd.

Unless Kassam's got a crystal ball which he ignored, he probably made the popoular choice.

True, but what we should be concered about is that popular choices are not always the best, as this scenario proves
