I could tell, Johno, STFCLady, Whits and Sonicyouth to play a game of football against a team, play brilliant Brazillian samba football and only score over head kicks.
Doesnt mean they will, because they arent good enough to do what is being asked of them.....

this is professional fuckin footballers we are talking about..you make it sound like they are crippled and play the long ball cos they cant pass ..you might be getting pissed off with all this iffy shit and thats your opinion..but may i suggest that the reason iffy picks,lukas,benjamin,or peacock is because he likes playing the long ball,we have a assistant manager who played for wimbledon which sums it up.the only one with a good football brain is woan who does not seem to have any input at all..our most ineffectivce players this year were migz and whalley(who can pass the ball) by all accounts and i suppose thats not their fault if they are being bypassed by instruction

Iffy had the right idea for me - more pace, power and work rate.
Obviously despite having the right idea it didnt work.

Obviously despite having the right idea it didnt work. you tell that to carslisle,and leyton orient then,southend last year ,swansea they all play attractive football.times have changed ffs half the defenders are 6.4" why hit it long.if we do that next year theres no point..for what its worth imo i think for the long ball to be a success u need goal scoring midfeilders to make the most of the knock downs which we have not had this year so i really dont see why we played it |

funny that, I remeber Southend beating us at The CG by quality set pieces not playing like 1970 brazil  Bottom line is I want us to win at all costs. If that means diving, cheating, dirty hoofball tactics so be it. :| |
