I honestly don't think it will happen, all I said was it would be worth trying. I think I would rather have a month of Parkin than a month of Holgate. It wouldn't do the younguns any harm to have some competition for a while.

Got to agree with DM Russell. Whats gone has gone, we've got to look to the future. League Two football is a whole lot different to Championship & Division One. The defenders for instance are not as skillful & therefore won't hesitate in 'mixing it' with a fellow centre forward & Mr Parkin isn't really one to get 'stuck in'. Also how would he like to join STFC now that King has gone?
