Didnt Mourinho said he was going to use Ballack as a striker? If this is the  case i cant see them going for both Ballack and Sheva, plus both of them are 29. I would say  someone like Torres at 22 would be a better investment than shev, not that in matters considering they have money to burn. Will be an interesting season next year considering Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool all have a fair bit of money to spend.

The ac milan president said the other day that Shevchenko wants to play in England. Chelsea want a top class striker and Crespo enjoyed playing at ac milan, so I'd have thought a swap deal is very likely.

I know Chelsea have more money than sense but if they pay £35million for a 30yr old with a  dodgy knee then they really are dumber than i thought.
