Good to see a senior player taking some responsibility in the Adver today, thinking ahead about whats best for the team.

We desperately need our senior pro's Jenks, Peacock, Paul Smith to provide that extra leadership off the pitch. Our team looked like a bunch of schoolboys for the 1st 6 months of this season.

Last season we had too many changes and certainly too many loanees. What we need is a period of stability with our own players learning to play together as a team.

Quite right, and is perhaps the only good thing that can be said for signing up onto contract players who clearly are nowhere near good enough to be playing league football.

We have to hope the stability reaps a dividend of at least basically competent performances.

Id say Jenks can still do a job on the pitch as well. Unspectacular but reasonably solid?

His lack of pace won't be such a problem in lge 2 as hopefully his experience will put him in the right place when needed.
