Came on in the second half of Ipswich's last game against plymouth. Didn't  score or nothing though.

OST might have a point here.  SSP had a difficult start there with few goals, got injured and the guy who signed him as just got the tin-tack

That's interesting - I didn't even know Royle had gone

I think that makes it all the more likely then.

It's just the fact that Sam has not exactly set the world alight at Portman Road as I am sure he would admit himself. Breaking his foot was also a big set back. Also, expectations from Ipswich fans of both him and Forster would have been sky high as they were attempting to replace Bent and Kuqi - very tough acts to follow.

I also think he could be just the sort of player Parkinson would be looking for. Yes, he will cost them a bit of money but not loads, and they do have a bit of money to spend I would have thought. Sam I think, would also be happier at a smallish club like Col U than a biggish club like Ipswich.

The fact that he is only just down the road from Colchester would only help things along.

Pure speculation on my part, albeit 'informed' speculation. It could be(and probably is) total bollocks but at least it's killed a bit of time and brought us all just a little bit closer to going home/going down the pub time  Cool

Apparently Parkinson is in the frame for Ipswich, as such I think it is indeed 'total bollocks'

Depends on who takes over at Ipswich. Super Sam has a good reputation and as far as I know still ended as top scorer.

Na Forster came top scorer, got something like five goals in six games when he came back from injury. Parkin came second on five with a few others.
