How can you say Iffy has had a chance? He has had no more than 3/4 of a season, with the only goalscorer taken away, starting 7 points behind everybody else! Had he started on a level playing fied we would have theoretically stayed up and everybody would have been happy.

I dont see what good getting rid of him would do given our situation.

agreed, but only if it's holloway who comes in.
Any idea if the rumours about Holloway being there yesterday were true? Or is it more thisis Sandra Bullocks?

lady's token reading fan said he was definitely there, couldn't see him myself.

it's looking increasingly likely he'll be involved in some capacity.

Give the new man full use of the summer transfer market, a pre-season and opening games.

why not give Iffy the same treatment?

.

This simply isn't true, we weren't 7 points behind anyone when Iffy came in, we only needed 3 points to get out of the relegation zone, in the end we finished 5 adrift with goal difference so had he started on a level playing field we wopuld have gone down anyway.

Iffy hasn't had a chance yet sorry.

I doubt even Jose Mourinho would have kept us up this year.

And anyway, Power and Devlin have said they want to give him a chance next season.

regardless of how many points we started/finished with, that 8 game losing streak was what took us down.

Take it neither MR or DMR was at Forest or City then? How can you say our fans have been shit this season? FFS, considering the unremitting shit we've had to put up with on the pitch (and a good deal of it off the pitch as well) the fans have been brilliant. You two might have been shit, don't judge the rest of the fans by your own standards

I agree.

I think that Iffy could do really well next season if given the chance. He had a huge task trying to help us stay up, and he may not of it but he made some positive changed already and he is miles better than king.

You can't slate him when he's not really had a good chance to prove himself. Let him start from the beginning, a new season and a whole new thing to play for - promotion. Not relegation with a team with no confidence like he had this season.

holloway isnt coming here, spoke to senior management yesterday and they basically said we cant afford him, it seemed to me though that iffy wont be manager for much longer but will probably stay at the club in some capacity.

Isn't Holloway still being paid in excess of £200k a year from QPR.  Can't see him taking a more than 50% pay cut to come here.  people seem to think we can just go and get whoever we want.

I'd be happy to have Iffy, also not devestated if someone special came in (very unlikely).

The start to this season gave it the kiss of death.  Very few teams will ever receover from 2 wins in and 1 draw in 13 games, coming off the back of a shit pre season with a squad full of players who'd hardly had a game between them for 12 months or were having their first ever season.

3 of the games in the losing run were under Iffy.

Going by the qpr messageboard Holloway was on £180k a year at QPR.
