Sounds about right...that was installments based on appearances, so he probably wont play for us again.

So I wonder if Bill Power will do what he has said he would and actually pay for players next season?

It must improve what we have considering the majority of the current squad were free?

Or are my rose tinted glasses too big?

Robinson, although about 600K too much, did at least play games and conduct himself in a professional fashion.

The money spent on Lord Lucan, was a complete waste.

Its wages that are the issue...you can only get decent players to a L2 side by paying them more than they're on elsewhere.

But there is a wage cap in L2, based on % of tuirnover, which means with our low crowds we'll have to pay low wages.

I think it was 340k, using money from the Fjortoft sale!

Never mind, 42 games in 3 seasons, then released from his contract and he went to Forest Green Rovers. If only we had that sort of money to spend these days.

Could be worse, we could be Walsall. Somehing like 5k in transfers over 3 or 4 seasons.

PS. 900K for Joey Beauchamp. Puts Mr Powers 1 million in perspective

Roberts was £20k, the rest was based on various clauses, like promotion clauses and remaining sober clause so I doubt we paid any more than that.
