We have two brentford fans coming with us saturday, and I was just wondering what pubs allow away fans as my memory is a bit pants and we don't tend to go for pre match drinks unless with have people with us nowadays! We took them in the merlin a few seasons ago and had no problems but I've heard they don't allow away fans in there now?

They let loads of Franchise fans in there Saturday just gone so I doubt it will be a problem, especially if they're with some Swindon fans......

Cheesy  I prefer the CGH to any other really, more of an atmosphere! we've been in there a couple of times this season. I don't think taking them in there will be a good idea though. Be warned brentford pete is 6 ft 6. He was one of the ones that walked to hartlepool for his club and it took him 2 weeks! thats dedication for you. We should do something like that.

Bournemouth would be my choice if we were to do that!  One of the more enjoyable away trips!

Cheesy  I'd do it, bourenmouth away is brilliant! That would be really fun. Raise a bit of money for our club too.

Pete did it because a couple of seasons ago brentford were in exactly the same situation as us, they were looking almost certain to go down and everyone thought they would. So pete being pete was in a bar after the game and declared infront of everyone 'if we stay up this season, I'll walk to hartlepool' and typically so they did.... that story fills me with a bit of hope that we have a chance actually because brentford so narrowly escaped it.

Pick up the Thames Path at Lechlade then follow all the way to Millwall piece of piss.

A TEF cycle ride to O*frod would be good, not as far as the old scum ground, and a decent route till you hit Scumsville.
