We have been asked to help select candidates for the club's Supporter of the Year award, so if you know someone who's gone that extra mile to back Town through thick and thin this season, now's your chance to ensure they get the recognition they deserve. Please include a brief outline of why you think this person should be nominated, and if possible their contact details as well as your own. Oh, and we'll need their real name, not their screen name.

All nominations to be received by 12 noon April 22, by post or email to members@truststfc.co.uk (or by 2.45 if handed in at the Trust office) - and yes, that does mean that replying to this thread doesn't count as a nomination.

If it's not Banbury Red then clearly it's wrong.

Suprised at that.

Still the bloke bleeds STFC and does so many of the VIP jobs it should be him.

Well I don't but if they win, we'll have to give the club their real names - otherwise the awards night could be a bit odd - "And the winner is ........ flammableBen!" (e.g.) And anyway we need their contact details etc as well.

There's no requirement by the way that nominees should have gone to every game, although I'd be surprised if someone who hadn't gone to most got thru.

I'd give it to a young'un...its easy enough for a Banbury Red, he like me has seen some "glory"...which does sustain through the dark days.

He only had to ignore the blandishments of the scum, which to be fair can't have ben that difficult, whereas now they've got to ignore the full commercial and media hit in order to avoid being a Chelsea or manUre fan, and in this period we've been more or less completely crap, thus making support that much better.

 I'd propose someone like Dex.
