Dependant on the club the players get freebies. Thats how I get them anyhow. Big clubs tend to give a minimum of two to player. its for familys etc.

my mate went to see forest city game at forest and got free VIP tickets through iffy. His dad mentioned it to him, and iffy told the club he needed tickets for 'scouting purposes'. My mates a jammy swine  :x
