I tried un installing and re installing it. And it doesn't work. Also tried varous stuff of the microsoft web site.

Real player works, but most stuff on the net uses Media Player.

Can anyone help?

Is it all files or just some of them?

playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=57025

Does the above work (audio only)?

Try VLC media player. That works. Download here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Could be an active x problem. Go to Internet Explorer and then in the tools menu select internet options. Go to the programs tab and then manage add-ons. Make sure all of the windows media player ones are enabled.

You sure? There should be a button at the bottom of the menu that appears:

Actually I've had this same problem for ages. Not found a solution I have to use an old version of media player to listen to Swindon games.

What version and where did you get it from? I've got that problem for Swindon games and Highlights, but some stuff it's fine for. I've been listening to games over skype, but won't be able to towards the end of april as my radio link aka my girlfriend, is coming over here

I just go to start and run and type in mplayer2 and it comes up with a really old one which was already there somehow, think it's about version 6. Said to do that on some website. Works for the Swindon commentaries but not for videos.

Ok, yeah that worked, then open, and paste in link into the box? I'll give it a bash for Franchise on the 15th (?), cheers

Blinkpip - are you using service pack 2?

There is actually just an option straight from the tools menu to manage add-ons in Internet explorer.
