How many English players did Liverpool use in the final last year...2?

Are we going to disown them as well
No because they have Crouch now and at his size he counts as 10 English players. PS. You still owe me £100.

ben you're making a fool out of yourself.

chelsea do not play good football it's as simple as that.

spurs can but they're let down by flids like jenas who can miss from a yard out and liverpool with morientes, who has the same skill.

west ham do play good football that one is true, help yourself to a lolly on the way out

And when are they at their peak, about once every four years, if that was their peak against Juventus then it wasn't very impressive. Arsenal were the better side but Juventus were shockingly poor.

The truth is that most of the time Arsenal really aren't that good to watch.

Yes, because Crouch played a massive part in Liverpools Champions League success last year

The point is they have Crouch now, in addition to Fowler, Gerrard and Carragher who all regularly start so they do have an English core.

There's been a load of games this year when Arsenal simply haven't played well at all, that's why their away record is won 4, drawn 3, lost 8 and they've only scored 13 goals. Take the Blackburn game, they were thoroughly outplayed and deservedly beaten. Blackburn also played much the better football, their goal was superb. But that's been the case more often than not this season especially when they play away from home.

Not forgetting Steve Warnock as well, I'm doubting they have a more English players than Arsenal, however they won the Champions League with just 2....which isnt alot.

I was just wondering if these people who are anti Arsenal are English felt the same way about Liverpool who didnt have many English men at all

Lets be honest if Ashley Cole and Campbell werent injured they would be playing, thats the same amount of English players Liverpool had in their side when they won in Istanbul.

Personally I do definitely like Liverpool a lot more this year now because they have more English players, I wasn't particularly bothered about them last year, although I wanted them to win the final rather than AC Milan but I'd be quite happy to see them win the premiership now.

Even though I don't like Arsenal at all though on balance I'd still rather they won the champions league than most of the other teams in it.

Well as Swindon didnt have a game this weekend I managed to get a ticket to see the Mighty Arsenal Smiley

couldnt have picked a better game .. plus it was a Row A seat in the North Bank .. Henry and Van Persie scored absolute crackers and it was an all round brilliant display

Also saw the new ground .. it is awesum ... puts Old Trafford in the shade and that is probably the best stadium ive ever been to

I doubt that very much as it is smaller than Old Trafford. Wembley will kick the arse of them all when it is finally complete in 2009.

talking of wembley the real reason it has been delayed is that because it's built on clay all the weight has made it sink 6 inches deeper due to the wet weather we've had

worst case scenario is that they have to start again or (forgot it's name) they stick stick loads of concrete underneath to support it
