I think hes probably been one of our most consistent players this season, I mean he has had his bad games but you only need look at our position to realise most of our players have had a pretty poor season.

I...on the other hand think he has been one of our most inconsistent players...few good games, few crap ones...then more good ones

I agree with DMR. Started off ok (Barnsley aside) and gradually got worse.

no way, he was the one playing all the penetrating balls down the right in the second half.
probably our most productive player in the second half. good assist too

I rather have Eric Sabin right back than Jack Shit. where's David Duke when we need him.

The only proof needed is to watch him. I hoped he would provide big things, but he's nearly at the Duke end of my spectrum.

On saturday he was absolutely wank! First haf kept getting done too easily an being caught out of position on numerous times. When he jumps for headers...he doesnt actually jump with his head, he jumps with his knees up not lookin at the ball and was lucky not to give many fouls away. Second half there is no doubt he improved but he couldnt get any worse from the first half.

Cant believe he is stayin tbh!

Smith is class. One of our best players this season.

Agree with dex, he was one of the few players actually looking to keep the ball on saturday & pass it to feet, rather than going with the easy option of hoofing it.

I agree with the token black and tails.  Smith played a few decent cutting balls in the second half for Curo to latch onto.  Defensively though, not so sure.

The thing is, is he a full back?  I'm sure when we signed him the Watford fans were saying he was a wide midfield man.  With a decent delivery on him.

Smith, is very much like Duke....very good going forward, decent delivery....not very good defensivly....I dont think he is a full back and would be better off as a winger....which is what we should have done with Duke.

Smith played as a winger for the second half against Colchester and few weeks back and looked dangerous....
