On his radio show last week he said he would rather see the County Ground as a pile of bricks and rubble and affordable housing than the site redeveloped for football. Beleives the club doesn't do anything to the town. Doesn't like teh club, and beleives the council shouldn't be helping STFC.

Couldn't give a toss tbh. There's plenty of facilities in Swindon that I don't use but as long as there are people to enjoy them and that do use them then that's fair enough.

A lot of critics have said the football club only represents a small proportion of the population of Swindon. Whilst that is true, I'd like to see the figures for some other facilities/projects. The community forest at Shaw Tip, or the park and ride don't get much use so I hear.

I don't believe your radio station contributes anything to the town, and I would be only to happy to see your workplace reduced to a pile of bricks and rubble and then redeveloped as affordable housing.

The real difference between my opinion of Radio Swindon and your opinion of Swindon Town Football Club, is that as a license payer I provide the funding for Radio Swindon. unless you attend the County Ground you provide no funding for Swindon Town Football Club.
