Any ideas on nice restaurants in the South of Mexico City.

Here on work, and meetings have gone much better than expected, so looks like I won't have to get room service this evening.

Any tips for a cool place to go would be most appreciated!

there is a fantastic chinese restaurant on the border of san angel and coyocan give me 10 minutes and i will come back with the name.

best visually in whole of mexico is on insurgentes the top of the world trade centre, fuckin amazing views great food and not too expensive, it also revolves and if you can get it on a non pollutin day it seems that the planes are going to do a 9/11 on you.

where are you staying then?

right memory in overdrive, the chinese is called hunan, expensive but great food, its on the corner of insurgentes and altavista, quite a way out of the city.

there is a fish restaurant called fishers in the napoles neighbourhood i think its on dakota but its near the park.

best bet has to be the top of the world trade centre for the views alone.

the best food in mexico is from any taco stall on the street, if you get a chance to go out tonight go to a bar called bar milan, the manager is called nacho and is one of my best mates, its also the best bar in the city, its near reforma on calle milan, ask any carparker they will know it. nacho normally wears his swindon town away kit Cheesy  and by the way my name is iain

Thanks for the tips. We headed out quite soon after my posting so unfortunately didn't get to try any of them out. Went to a nice traditional place called VillaMaria.

As for Tequila, the best thing in my opinion is a nice smooth one, and a glass of Sangrita to accompany.
