I don't hate Reading as a club, it just annoys me that some clubs struggle and then one guy comes along, gives them a load of money and changes their fortunes.

We are seriously in the shit, whilst they are looking at being possibly 3 leagues above us next year. Not throught their own doing, because somebody gave them the cash.

It doesn't seem right. If somebody did that with Swindon I would feel guilty and would feel ast hough we had cheated our way to success

John Madejski hasn't bought Reading success, by just throwing money at it..remember its taken them what maybe 12 years or so to get to this....he's achieved it by a series of sound pragmatic business decisions.

He's also recently had to back it up somewhat from his own pocket, but probably hasn't put in as much of his personal wealth as SSW has into us.

Would our powers that be have spotted Nicky Hammond as a Director of Football?

if someone came here and got us to the premiership, i would not say we have cheated our way there. A investor gave us money and we did well would be what i would say.

Reading got that investor and did well. It annoys me that now clubs that do well have to have a big backer with money, like chelsea (knobs) but thats football now. Its not exactly cheating.

i wouldn't mind if it happened to us. But i hate the fact it happens, as it ruins football. Not that hard to get.

who on here could seriously say that if we had a backer who could make us better, they wouldn't be happy.

Okay I would be much happier with the fact we were doing well, but it would make me feel guilty, and we would imo lose any bragging rights over clubs like Oxford and City who haven't had that kind of treatment
