Reading were not a big club, are not a big club and never will be a big club. Bit of money and a new ground has got them where they are and if brady had come good for us we would be sat at the top of the first and reading would be in second. They haven't ever won anything and probably never will (league titles dont count as trophies). I cant wait for them to go up so i can watch them embarrass them selves week in week out by getting thrashed by everyone in the premiership.

As much as I hate to admit it, I don't think they'll get relegated. And believe me, I feel sick admitting that.
Reading piss me off so much. Where I live every other person is suddenly a Reading fan.
I hope they get beat 10-0 every week, but they won't. They'll do a West Ham. Makes me sick. :chunder:

I say fair play to Reading....shows what can be achieved when a Council and club work together for the good of the community.
Reading to me is and always has been just a club that's quite easy to get to for an away game.....bit like Brentford.

Sorry Rich but where are those 'fans' now huh? they have been driven away by a board that insists on putting up the ticket prices so that it costs a ridiculous amount to watch a poor standard of football. yes some have gone probably because of where we are now but who wants to pay that money?

Sorry Rich but where are those 'fans' now huh? Reading are no different to us or any other club for that matter....if its going well you'll get a lot of new fans when its a struggle most of those will flake off. When we played Chelsea in the Prem there were more at the CG than at the Bridge.....now you see their plastic fans are everywhere.

We're not to disimilar to Reading. Where are the missing 10,000+ fans that jumped on our band wagon whilst we were in the prem? Thats the problem with our following in general. Most of our support comes from outside Swindon and quite a few of them are 'floating fans' - people who watch whatever team is doing best nearest to them. I know a person in Cirencester who watches Cheltenham instead of Swindon now and a bloke in Chippenham who had enough of the crap at TCG and become a regular at City. Makes me sick. Worst case scenario for us is us going down while Reading cement a position in the prem. God forbid if City go up next season we could easily end up with sub 3,000 gates. :old:

I don't hate Reading as a club, it just annoys me that some clubs struggle and then one guy comes along, gives them a load of money and changes their fortunes.
We are seriously in the shit, whilst they are looking at being possibly 3 leagues above us next year. Not throught their own doing, because somebody gave them the cash.
It doesn't seem right. If somebody did that with Swindon I would feel guilty and would feel ast hough we had cheated our way to success
