Does anyone know the real reason Trescothick has returned home?

There are some predictable rumours flying about but I wondered whether anyone based in Somerset had heard anything solid.

we dont have any players left it seems. only 5 that won the ashes will start on wednesday! it bears all the hallmarks of the way rugby collapsed after we won the world cup. not good

I heard that too,it does make some sense to me as well,i mean it must be hard touring around and playing international cricket, mentally as well as phsyically. If we'd lost the test series though,i probably wouldn't be as understanding Wink

Can't understand why he gets to pick and choose what tours he goes on?And tbh considering his form this summer maybe he shouldn't be going anyway.
