In Shrewton there is a road called Upper backway .And when i worked at RAF Upavon the road that led to the RMP block was called Letsbie Avenue .

Isn't there a place called Wankdorff in Switzerland or Austria (or some other German state...) Wankendorf (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) That one? There's a place down south Germany called Killer

True story. computer says no ! (well multimap and streetmap)  Think the operative words are "used to be"  Will no doubt have changed at some point. There is a place called Twatt in the Orkneys!
