...we are currently aiming to get some music person to perform at the County Ground again.

Stupid idea if you ask me, esp if it fucks the pitch up like last season and means we dont get any pre-season home friendlies because its almost like starting two steps behind everyone as we found out at the start of this season

proper planning prevents piss poor performance

As stated in the same article, the club would be acting as promoter therefore would make considerably more money the the EJ concerts. This  makes it a good idea, assuming the artist in question has enough pull to sell out, or nearly sell out the CG

The probelm with last pre-season was the standard of the opposition, not the fact they were all away from home. Theres nothing to stop us playing some league teams away.

We had league teams lined up at the CG last season. So we had planned to play them but cucumstances changed.

surely the main focus of our pre-season will be the tournament in ibiza? at least we'll play huddersfield out there who are a decent league team.
