Reg have we ever played in an odd 1st team colour kit?
Originally we played in green, in the 1890's, but apparently the dyes were not too successful, or too expensive more like, so red was easier.
This is why on some club stuff, green is included like the the infamous potato print shirt..
The second kit colour was always all blue, back as I recall into the early 60's.
So the oddest kit up to that point was the all white for the LC final......which was a complete change.
Around the early 70's, there was a change to black shorts, which wasn't universally popular as it seemed to coincide with a slump in fortunes, so the white shorts were restored.
More recently we've had all red, which red shorts personally I don't like, also some odd away kits like last seasons abomination.
