Thats not a bad curry house tbh, however not many ppl know its there cause its so hidden. The steps are a nightmare after a few drinks though!

I usually go for quite a hot curry but we visited the Biplob recently and I went for a Lamb Achaar.
It was amazing, not hot at all but the lamb tasted so good with the minty curry. I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't keen on dishes with heat.
Lamb Achaar
(Lamb pieces cooked with chopped onions and tomato and lemon juice with coconut and mint sauce with a touch of honey)
That sounds proper off the hook.

Im not a big fan of Popadoms, i prefer Naan bread. I always have Pilau Rice and a few pints of their finest Lager.
Popodoms are a waste of good time in my opinion. They don't taste of anything and they are only put on the table so they can make you wait longer.

Now Naan Bread dipped in the sauce of the Curry is a different matter.

Onion Bhaji, Puppadoms, Garlic nan, Chicken Sagwala and Pilau rice (Kingfisher Lager, plenty of), all from the Sundarbon in Birmingham.

Peshwari naan and mushroom rice is a must with any curry imo.
