I think his comments are patronising and pathetic. England fans have supported the team through a period where their Rugby has gone back so far, I think some of the players would be fascinated to learn the wheel has already been invented.

Twickenham was getting filled and England were getting good support long before the WC. I think this renders Vickery's point invalid.
