We don't believe everything in the Daily Mail, but in today's article about the Wise move, the following paragraph: " Swindon, who were holding out for £200,000 to cover the loss of Wise and his no.2 Gus Poyet, accepted the inevitable last night as hard-up Bates, still to pay off Blackwell, negotiated a compromise sum."  This implies if true less than £200,000  compo.

Sounds like the situation vacant blurb that will appear in the Adver.

Wanted, football manager

I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure
And it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
