Not sure that appointing a manager can be done in a short timescale. I think its more important we get the right man, rather than appointing the first person that looks half decent.
The fans would be up in arms if we quickly appointed someone who was going to be Malpas Mk2.
Cooper has been involved in most of pre-season, I suspect he'll be in temporary charge until we find the right man.
So if they're taking their time, one hopes the end result won't leave us disappointed!
