How much time will the new man have though before Saturday? If applications/interviews are today and an appointment tomorrow at some point then there is surely no time for a training session/get players in/study opposition tactics? I'd rather we somehow got through the weekend and made the right appointment Monday next week...that's me personally though.

I suspect a man will be identified and they will go get him.  I am not expecting a prolonged period of interviews with endless applicants.

If the man has been identified and contacted yesterday then talks/compensation could be ironed out today and he can get his arse on the training ground tomorrow!

Anyone looking to impress in the interview should probably turn up with a detailed plan on how to defeat Coventry on Saturday... that's what I'd do

The man whose latest achievement was getting Luton to 10th place - and 14 points shy of the play off places - in the Conference?  The knives would be out almost immediately.

It would also be a strange move for a clearly passionate Luton fan to poach Luton's manager for his 'new' club.
I thought Buckle had left Luton for personal reasons

That's my view, the board have said they won't be rushed into a decision, now they're looking to make a decision within 2 or 3 days.

I'd rather we wait till next week and interview 4 or 5 more to get a better idea.
Fair to say none of the board would have interviewed a football manager for a job before.

First thing i would have done is kept Nick Watkins for the management process as he's sat through enough of them.

He's still here isn't he? Certainly bloody hope so, thought this was one of the transitional things he was being kept on for

His farewell notes were in the programme on tuesday night, whether he has left not or end of season someone else will have to confirm this as i didn't read the piece. There also talk of him being 5 live somewhere else on the forum.
