Title: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: pauld on Friday, March 1, 2013, 00:23:54 At least according to some national newspaper (according to the Gazette and Herald which doesn't name the paper and I can't be bothered to search for it as I'm sure someone else will):

Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: thedarkprince on Friday, March 1, 2013, 04:15:27 Get the impression that Jed would be disappointed if this is true.
Non-story in my eyes. Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: Bone Machine on Friday, March 1, 2013, 09:02:36 If his lawyers are sane, they'll tell him to stop being silly. But then, he's probably looked long and hard for lawyers who're as mad as him.
Still, if he threatens to sue the club and in return the club threaten to complain to the police about aggravated trespass, burglary and criminal damage, I'm guessing I know what will happen… Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: Stegenfreud on Friday, March 1, 2013, 09:06:14 To what aim? (Other than money) He'll just be harming those that DID support him - the fans. If true this is very disappointing... He doesn't need the money or moral high ground so why not just walk away?
Oh and Phil Spencer is a cunt. Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: Exiled Bob on Friday, March 1, 2013, 09:12:45 If true, it confirms what a spiteful, self-obsessed prick Di Canio is.
What I don't understand is, Di Canio apparently resigned on the Tuesday before the Tranmere game and then negotiated a short term contract afterwards that then expired once the deadline that he set had passed. Surely the new contract would have nullified any previous contract. And, it would be surprising if the new Board had left a clause in it leaving them open to this sort of thing….. Di Canio is certainly doing his best to make himself unemployable by clubs in the future. Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: sonicyouth on Friday, March 1, 2013, 09:41:47 To what aim? How does that work then ? Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: pauld on Friday, March 1, 2013, 11:01:31 aggravated trespass ? It doesn't, not in this instance. Aggravated trespass was the legislation brought in to try and combat hunt saboteurs. It elevates the simple (civil) act of trespass into a criminal offence when the person(s) trespassing do so with intent to disrupt a lawful activity (i.e. hunting). It wouldn't apply here, even though it sounds like it might. Classic case of sounding like you know what you're talking about :) (Not you Fred)How does that work then ? Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? I decided not to partake in it due to knowing I wouldn't be able to take the abuse and assualts they do without retaliating. The pacifists that do no wrong end up getting battered and nicked so I stood no chance. Fucking hate hunting me Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? @WCPatey: PDC agreed in principle to the sale of Ritchie a week before he was sold. His condition was that we brought in loan players. Title: Re: Di Canio sues Town? Post by: sonicyouth on Sunday, March 3, 2013, 14:18:52 Move on...

Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, March 3, 2013, 15:06:58 Does that mean he is going to sue the football league, after all it was them putting us under an M'Bargo that prevented the loan signings that had been agreed
