Azza gets torn a new one

Point is though none of this would have been recorded if he hadn't run a red light - sure the cop hasn't a clue what he talking about and is made to look an arse but does that mean people should get away with breaking the law?

In truth I learnt something...

The law student is an absolute cunt.

Agreed. Just man up and take the fine. You went through a red light.

Why ?

Fair play to him for actually knowing the law - the copper made himself look a prize A twat for trying to be clever when he didn't have a clue !!

If the copper had known what h was talking about it would have been OK - but he didn't....

This. I'm not actually sure he's a law student. Watch some of his other videos, the bloke is a fucking fruit if nothing else.

This makes me yearn for the old days when the cop could have just twatted the smart arsed little fuck.  We used to have similar problems at the student union I ran with bloody law students who would get pissed up start a fight and then claim assault because they are being 'escorted' out of the venue.

As you say, he went through a red light, man up and take the ticket.

Once saw somebody claiming to be a lawyer at the Thai - Cambodian border.

She was on overstay..... her visa had expired. In such cases you pay a fine and off you go, problem sorted. This gobby cow however was refusing to pay the fine saying it wasn't her fault, she was saying somebody else adviced her differently. She was in the wrong, there was no two ways about it. She kept telling them she was a lawyer as though they would drop in awe and let her through.

One does have a choice in these matters: Pay the fine or go to court. The immigration bods called the rozzers and and she was taken away. I suspect the fat gobby cow spent much of her holiday in the immigration detention center waiting for a court date.

I watched "the million pound drop" the other day. There was a law student on there. All I can say is that the entry  requirements for reading law aren't what they used to be.

Didn't think the police were bothered about cyclists breaking the law any more. I see it daily, running red lights, going the wrong way on a one way street, having no lights, & cycling on pavements.

That video has been doing the rounds on the internet (http://captainranty.blogspot.com/2011/03/police-camera-action.html) for ages, nice to see the highly paid journalists of the MSM on the ball as ever

Well when I say ran, I was employed as Entertainments manger.  The student executive thought they ran it, but they were mostly ignored by me!

I saw a cyclist stop at a red light last week.  True story.

On this clip the cyclist shouldn't have gone through the red light and the policeman should have known the law.

They both come across as cocks.  The Policeman is obviously on a power trip with his plastic helmet on (as a lot of policeman these days are) and the student obviously needs putting in his place for serious lack of respect (an all too common problem these days unfortunately)

I agree with what was said earlier, a clip around the ears in the old days never hurt.

aren't we making a leap in judgement that the policeman is right (ie the law has been broken), just because he has police written in lovely slopey letters on his helmet?

if the law enforcers don't know the law then i think we're entitled to ask questions

I made the leap of judgement that the the law bloke was in the wrong. I came to that conclusion because he did something wrong.

The copper also seemed a bit of a tit, but the law tit broke the law. Whether or not the copper was also a tit doesn't change that.

Fair play on the cyclist knowing and playing the system, but he didn't need to get so smarmy about it.

have you encountered many lawyers or solicitors without that ability?

Paper this evening had the cyclist making an apology of sorts for being a dick.

Bet the student wouldn't of asked so many questions if he was being mugged or beaten up and needed his help, that's why so many petty crimes go unpunished, to much paperwork and politics.

The 'Law Student' in question is a 40+ year old guy with a wife and kids. He's called Danny Shine.

Shine has been doing videos like this on the net for years now. He is probably better known as one of the founding members of the Love Police - which was quality when it first got going, only to be hijacked by a combo of dodgy ego's and conspiracy lovers.

The original vids are well worth a look on youtube though.

Cyclists piss me off every day when they ignore fundamental road safety issues that motorists (rightly) have to follow for the sake of everyone. Jumping a red light, whether its on a bike or in a car, is fucking dangerous, and he deserves to get his collar felt like anyone else.

Regardless of the alleged offence, the copper is the cunt in that video though.

When his obvious ignorance of the law and then his feeble attempts at bullshit fails, he tries to pull rank, then gets violent by trying to take the camera. Wanker.

Nice to see the old bill getting some back.

They don't like cameras on them do they?

Nearly got hit by a cyclist when crossing Euston Road last week after he went through a red. Noticed he had a camera on his helmet. Probably would be the first to complain if a driver dared get slightly too close or something, but clearly sees no need to obey the law himself.
