Leaving Town was the right move

FORMER Swindon winger Mark Marshall reflects fondly on his time at the County Ground, but feels his departure
last year ultimately proved to be the right move for his career.

Banned for 2 years from all football activity having failed a drugs test.

All football activity seems a bit draconian, why can't he play FM?

It seems really strange that it hasn't been specified what he actually tested positive for?

He tested positive for Methylhexaneamine as per Barnet's statement.

I can make up drugs too...

As an a-level chemist I can confirm that methylhexaneamine is a real chemical. ;D

I know it's used in dietry pills. I think the same as the one's Kolo Toure took.

What is it then?

What is it then?

A molecule with a 6 carbon backbone and a methyl group and amine group (NH2) attached somewhere on the chain, the name doesn't specify where on the chain they are so clearly isn't its UIPAC name!

;)

I have no idea what you're on about but than you for explaining it to me anyway :)

Hexane is the carbon chain of length 6. Attached to that chain is a methyl group which is a -CH3 group. Also attached to the chain is an amine group which is -NH3. As above, we don't know where abouts on the chain the methyl or amine group is attached..

So basically the only thing I added to the above is that hexane is the name responsible for the 6 length carbon chain!

I've an A level in chemistry, but it was so long ago the Periodic Table finished at Lawrencium....there's been about 65 editions since, of which I know none..

I'm also informed that most things I learnt in physics are no longer true.  Something to do with something being faster that the speed of light.  At least with chemistry if you mix the same things you get the same explosions.

I have an A-level in Chemistry. I can't remember half of it. Christ knows why I thought organic chemistry would ever come in useful to me, I'll never know.

Yeah, but surely you can make stuff go bang, whizz and change colour.  That's gotta be good.

Maybe so.  Physics always confused me.

All I know is I'd love to drop a massive lump of Francium in the middle of the pacific and admire the result.

Did you really get to use Francium back in the day? We're allowed to handle magnesium sodium and lithium. Not francium..

I'd love to just play around with mercury!

I highly doubt it seeing as it's highly radioactive and no one has ever viewed it in bulk.
