It seems really strange that it hasn't been specified what he actually tested positive for?

He tested positive for Methylhexaneamine as per Barnet's statement. I can make up drugs too... repktp54o&*£DF3[-osdfaphine

As an a-level chemist I can confirm that methylhexaneamine is a real chemical.

A molecule with a 6 carbon backbone and a methyl group and amine group (NH2) attached somewhere on the chain, the name doesn't specify where on the chain they are so clearly isn't its UIPAC name!

Hexane is the carbon chain of length 6. Attached to that chain is a methyl group which is a -CH3 group. Also attached to the chain is an amine group which is -NH3. As above, we don't know where abouts on the chain the methyl or amine group is attached..

So basically the only thing I added to the above is that hexane is the name responsible for the 6 length carbon chain!

As an a-level chemist I can confirm that methylhexaneamine is a real chemical. I've an A level in chemistry, but it was so long ago the Periodic Table finished at Lawrencium....there's been about 65 editions since, of which I know none..
