I suggested the collection as it was such a success with Lennon / Leeds last season. It was great to raise some money for a good cause and to work with fans of another club in the process, hence my suggestion for a joint collection with the Poole Town forum. Obviously there is the Just Giving page, but that way it's somewhat anonymous rather than a group of us from the forum having a whip round and handing over a single decent donation.

Would be good if we can make a decent showing at their fun day as well.

TT - Are you still happy to collect from the TEF or shall I just donate on the just giving site?  Agree with Dave that it's nice to put in as a group.

For the record, I too can confirm I gave Fred a tenner in a spontaneous gesture of affection for the elderly. Should he, in his kindly elderly gent way, choose to give what is now his money to a charitable cause of his choice, that's his affair (and his money) and any such sum should of course be eligible for Gift Aid. Kind of like those old ladies who leave the lot to the cat's home, innit?
