Very sad news..was quite a loyal Town fan and to die so young is tragic...RIP. Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: stfctownenda on Monday, August 17, 2009, 17:43:33 Rest in peace, truly brutal story.
Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: juddie on Monday, August 17, 2009, 17:44:31 that's awful. RIP.
Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: DV on Monday, August 17, 2009, 17:45:16 I never knew the guy but used to play football against him on quite a regular basis.
His team used to be our main rivals in the abbey meads sunday night league. Always ended up us first them second. He always wore that american football jersey when he played in goal as well. Pretty decent keeper and seemed a nice lad. Town fan as well. What a really shitty time for it to happen. So young and hours before the birth of your first child. That really is fucking shit.... Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: reeves4england on Monday, August 17, 2009, 17:46:59 Very sad that he should die so young, let alone in those circumstances. Gotta feel for the family too, especially his partner.
I don't suppose this was one of the Town fans wearing an American football jersey at Victoria on the way to Pikeyland was it? Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: Bogus Dave on Monday, August 17, 2009, 17:50:16 I think he may have died before then reeves.

RIP Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: Hammer on Monday, August 17, 2009, 19:23:54 This may sound a trifle harsh, although it is not designed to be, and no disrespect is intended. I see a dead body at least once a week. Any death is tragic, more so when it is unexpected. It is especially so in the case of a young person, and where they have dependants who are ''left in the cold''. My sympathies go to them. Initially I feel sorrowful, yet after the results of a PM my sorrow evaporates on an ever-increasing basis. Amongst the under-25s - so many car accidents, deaths from cirrhosis and drug abuse. Self-infliction is now all too common. Until the PM I suspend the extent of my sympathy for someone I have never known. I wish the family well.

I too see this kind of thing often and infact my work mates were some of the meds trying to revive him. I cant quite understand why you would reserve any sympathy? End of the day there is a child now who does not have a father. He was 21 and was too young to die. FactTitle: Re: Very sad. Post by: ronnie21 on Monday, August 17, 2009, 20:08:59 It's one hell of a wake-up call for everybody.
Tragic, RIP Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: Hammer on Monday, August 17, 2009, 20:11:48 I too see this kind of thing often and infact my work mates were some of the meds trying to revive him. I cant quite understand why you would reserve any sympathy? End of the day there is a child now who does not have a father. He was 21 and was too young to die. Fact I understand Dan. I was trying to be objective Dan. Until the circumstances and cause of death become clearer then I am unable to comment. I just hope the family have the best support to deal with it as best they can. The fact that he is to be cremated in his Town shirt gives me the reason to extend my sympathy a little more than i usually would. Title: Re: Very sad. Title: Re: Very sad. Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, 14:44:40 Without being a forum nazi could you confine your stupidity to different thread and not one paying respect to a young lad who has died please.
