Title: Anchovies!!!! Post by: herthab on Monday, July 6, 2009, 18:38:57 On another fish related thread (It doesn't always have to be about cheese you know) I tried, for the first time, fresh anchovies on Saturday night at an Italian restaurant in Weston Super Mare.
Sardines are yesterdays news, anchovies are where it's at! I would urge all fish lovers to try this delicacy at the earliest opportunity. Apparently you can by them at the fish counter at Morrisons. They're fresh off the deli counter, or sometimes in the refridgerated section by the olives, sun-dried toms etc. Morrison's ones are better tasting and better value than Sainsbury's IMO.
