On another fish related thread (It doesn't always have to be about cheese you know) I tried, for the first time, fresh anchovies on Saturday night at an Italian restaurant in Weston Super Mare.
Sardines are yesterdays news, anchovies are where it's at!
I would urge all fish lovers to try this delicacy at the earliest opportunity. Apparently you can by them at the fish counter at Morrisons. Try them with a salad and a squeeze of lemon.
Lovely!

Fuck off..............from one old cunt to an older one! And yes, you can buy marinated anchovies fresh from the deli counter in Morrison's. And Sainsbury's. And my wife swears by them. Apparently they're quite nice, but they don't last long in our house.......
