At present we've got 4 centre backs (Aljofree, Greer, Ifil, Morrison) plus Kanyuka and Lescinel (if they sign) as additional cover. Seems at least one too many if we're reducing the size of the squad. I can't see Reading wanting Kanu next season no matter which league they are in, he isn't anywhere near as good as Cox was when he joined us and they let him go. A season long loan seems a logical choice for them, though I'm not too bothered whether he comes back or not - he just ain't that good. OTJ is agood player. There aren't too many so big, strong and mobile midfielders, we just never saw the best of him because he never reached full fitness. With a pre-season under his belt he'd be immense IMO.
