Title: Kaka Post by: Scot Munroe on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 22:19:11 breaking news on ssn. Man city open talks with Ac Milan over signing Kaka.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Nemo on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 22:27:08 Nee fucking way.
Poor old Stephen Ireland, best player in the team this season and he'll be benched now. They'll still get kicked around by Bolton and the like, a midfield of Wright Phillips, Elano, Kaka and Petrov with Robinho up front will get hammered, especially when the defense is Dunne and Richards, who are competing for the "what the hell did they do in the summer that ruined them that much?" award. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Batch on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 22:28:54 Hahaha, stupid talk of 100 million Euros.
It't not going to happen is it. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Bennett on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 22:29:34 opening talks that i assume will go along the lines of:
acmilan- we want £50million man city- fuck off Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Bennett on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 22:30:13 i have said all along they need a top class centreback as dunne is pretty shoddy
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Scot Munroe on Tuesday, January 13, 2009, 22:32:00 Also Micah Richards has been awful this season. made a bit of a mistake of putting him in my dream team.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: DMR on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 03:29:00 If this transfer happens I will track down and eat that donkey in Yeovil red's avatar.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: yeo on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 03:44:28 I dont think its as out of the question as people are making out.City have the money to make it happen.
and hands off my Donkey! Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 09:15:24 500k a week!!
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Colin Todd on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 09:42:53 So is citys owners dream to have the brazilian national team playing for man city?
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: janaage on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 09:47:51 Also Micah Richards has been awful this season. made a bit of a mistake of putting him in my dream team. Problem with Micah Richards is the MOTD "experts" hailed him as some sort of english wonder kid, as they seem to do with a lot of youngsters in the premiership. I can't watch MOTD that often as it winds me up. When City were "flying" at the top of the Premiership last season Hansen, Shearer et al were all saying how wonderful City and Sven were. Load of bs, they'd beaten average teams and in the long run the cream rose to the top whilst the average tailed off. Richards is a good player don't get me wrong it's just the MOTD guests definitely subscribe to the sensationalist type of media reporting. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 09:59:32 I had an imaginary friend called KaKa when I was little!
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Fred Elliot on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 11:02:31 Why does that not suprise me ?
:D Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 11:05:29 my dad decided to tell everyone on the minibus in Cheltenham once :-[
I had two imanginary friends actually - the other one was called Dallas :-[ Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Dazzza on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 12:32:14 It's more obsene than the t'interweb sites I stumbled across last night.
I also feel the need to silently Kakakaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa in my head every time the small Brazilian is mentioned. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 12:42:34 I actually think he is overated. Saw him at wembley he was average and has done when i have seen him. They should try signing someone like that senna and a defender
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: land_of_bo on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 12:49:18 Would he want to play for a Championship side though or a team not in Europe?
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Matchworn Shirts on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 12:55:16 Would he want to play for a Championship side though or a team not in Europe? For the money he would be paid I would say so Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Bennett on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 18:16:02 Kaka's agent says he would not go to Manchester City purely for the money. "He would never do something like Robinho, who, just to earn more, contented himself with a solution that was not a winning one," said Diogo Kotscho. (Corriere dello Sport, 1200 GMT)
if correctly quoted that's how to get off on the wrong foot... assuming he goes there n all that Title: Re: Kaka Post by: pumbaa on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 19:42:57 500k a week!! That in itself is obscene, but in todays financial climate with people losing their jobs left, right and centre, frankly it makes a mockery of football at the highest level. Ridiculous and I hope he doesn't go there. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: JPC82 on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 19:53:10 Kaka has said he wont go as long as Milan want him, but if Milan accept a bid then he would go as Milan would want him to leave. Offering £100m surely would be accepted and Kaka will join City, depends if they have the balls to pay all that on 1 player
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: cib on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 20:04:37 He isn't going to Man City seeing where they are in the league, and Milan have to think that if they do accept a ridiculous bid from City it'll just inflate prices for players they'd like to buy and the consequences will continue for other clubs. All in all, fuck off Man City.
They'll end up getting Bellamy for near £20 million or something, along with Parker for another overpriced sum and still struggle because thats not what they need. Like its been said they need experienced players who will steady the ship. Get the foundations right then buy Kaka, Messi, Cureton etc Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 20:16:39 Money rules. You watch milan sell him then buy out beckhams contract.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Batch on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 20:47:54 100M, 500 fucking k a week. To coin a Paul Davis phrase are Man City's owners trying to win a dick waving contest with the rest of world football?
I can't see this size deal ever coming off. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, 22:28:52 Apparently to his agent, if AC Milan are willing to sell then kaka is willing to talk...
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: LucienSanchez on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 09:05:50 This shouldn't be allowed to happen... it's bad news.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Danjackson10 on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 09:17:02 It shouldnt be allowed to happen! Just to put it into context. The money being talked about for Kaka would build a brand new hospital and the wages he would earn in 1 week would pay for around 22 nurses for a whole year!
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: janaage on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 09:22:31 The money being talked about for Kaka would build a brand new hospital and the wages he would earn in 1 week would pay for around 22 nurses for a whole year! To be honest Dan, I don't think Kaka is interested in building a hospital or paying for 22 nurses for a week, what would he do with them? I should imagine he'll just get paid into his offshore registered company, pay little to no tax and get richer by the second. You really need to think before you type sometimes fella. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Danjackson10 on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 09:51:43 Im not saying he cares, im just trying to put it into context how fucked up the whole thing is! how can anyone be worth that much money! Just seems like such a waste of money and a whole lot of greed!
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Colin Todd on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 09:53:19 It shouldnt be allowed to happen! Just to put it into context. The money being talked about for Kaka would build a brand new hospital and the wages he would earn in 1 week would pay for around 22 nurses for a whole year! This is true. but it dosnt really have anything to do with kaka or football. Millions of people have the potential to be a nurse. Only a handful of people on the planet have the footballing ability of Kaka. its supply and demand. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: janaage on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 09:57:34 Im not saying he cares, im just trying to put it into context how fucked up the whole thing is! how can anyone be worth that much money! Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Scot Munroe on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 22:49:03 if he goes, i will lose respect for him as a player. you won't play champions league football if you go Kaka.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: JPC82 on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 22:52:10 Milan want him to go, they have accepted the bid, why stay where u are not wanted? i for 1 just want him in the premier league cos hes a world class player, couldnt care less about the transfer fee or if he gets 400k a week, fair play i wouldnt turn it down either!!
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: janaage on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 22:59:38 I don't think Milan want him to go necessarily, it's just it's far too much money to turn down. Don't think it makes him doubt Meeeelan's desire to keep him at the San Siro.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: michael on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 23:03:31 Wow! This is well exciting. I hope they sign Messi as well, then all the best players in the world will be in England :)

Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Simon Pieman on Friday, January 16, 2009, 00:52:38 It shouldnt be allowed to happen! Just to put it into context. The money being talked about for Kaka would build a brand new hospital and the wages he would earn in 1 week would pay for around 22 nurses for a whole year! And one week of your wages would probably employee 22 sweatshop workers in the Far East for a whole year. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Rich Pullen on Friday, January 16, 2009, 00:53:36 It wasn't until all this business started that I realised that I've barely seen Kaka play! Is he really that good? I doubt it, I still find it hard to justify paying a million pounds for a footballer let alone one hundred million!
£100million eh... everytime I read that I think of.... Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Bob's Orange on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 07:57:31 Here's the dialogue between Man City and
Kaka. Unfortunately it only has the script from the City end: "Hello, is that Kaka? How do you fancy becoming the supply line to Craig Bellamy and Darius Vassell this winter? "No, your fellow countryman doesn't like the cold and will be out until mid April - but you will play alongside Stephen Ireland" "No, Kaka, Ireland is a person not a country" "yes, I fully appreciate that he is not Ronaldinho, Pirlo or even Beckham but many fans have him in their fantasy football" "I know you are currently the richest man in Italy but we can double it!" "erm, well, we have had a bit of a slide recently and we are currently 15th" "erm, out of 20...... but Mark Hughes once won the double for our neighbours" "Hughes" "Ex Blackburn boss" "Blackburn, Blackburn Rovers" "No, Blackburn......Black.....Burn" "HUGHES man, HUGHES!!!" "He once scored a good goal against Spain" "No, thats Gerry Armstrong..... anyway, are you coming or not?" "Usually about two thirds full but if we play a big team its really rocks" "yes I know, but we dont even have a car park cos all the fans walk to the ground they are so local" "Relevance? well, I suppose its all they have to brag about whether its true or not" "Only the one to be fair but its called 'blue moon' you will love it" "Blue" "yes, definitely blue, always has been" "No, no, no, they are in Trafford" "yes they are, steeped in it in fact but what good is history to you my ambitious friend?" "erm, 1976 I think" "it was the er, the er League cup if memory serves me right" "Well, the plan was to get in the top 4 this season and then....." "yes, I realise that but....." "Aston Villa? Whats it got to do with them?" "Yes, I know but we have been down this history route already" "How the heck does a Brazilian playing in Italy know about Nottingham Forest?" "Yes, yes, and Leeds United also made a final but you are missing my point, this is all about the future" "Give me strength......HUGHES!!!!" "yes I know he did and he was a legend there but he is a changed man" "forget them, they are falling apart" "But all those trophies were won last year! They have won nothing in 2009" "I have told you.... 1976!!!!" "How the heck does a Brazilian playing in Italy know that Virginia Wade has won Wimbledon since then?" "Yes she probably is in her 60's" "I dont know, probably about 18 league titles, 3 European cups and countless domestic cups what has that got to do with it?" "76,000 why?" "yes, every game, even minor cups I suppose, but where is this getting us?" "Yes, the league cup is considered a minor cup over here why?" "I know, I know, I know, ok perhaps they won the FA Cup in 1970 or something does it really matter?" "look, Kaka, we will treble whatever you are on now, buy you a mansion in Alderley Edge and give you a helicopter for your front lawn....are you joining us?" "NO!, its owned by the council - what has the ground got to do with anything" "well, officially its the city of manchester stadium but most people call it Eastlands" "EAST!, not Waste" "You will be adored there" "No, not there, here I meant" "No, thats Old Trafford, I meant adored here at Waste....erm, Eastlands" "Anderson??? what does he know?" "Ok I hear what you say, but other than Pride, Ambition, Achievement, History, Passion and a large car park - what can they offer you?" "what do you mean no credit left in your phone.....I phoned you" "Hello, Mr Kaka,...... Mr Kaka are you there?............................" Title: Re: Kaka Post by: STFC_Gazza on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 10:11:09 BRAZILLIAN superstar Kaká has called off a move to Manchester after his agent finally said the word 'city'.
The AC Milan striker was furious claiming he had been duped into believing he was going to sign for a proper football team that had won a major trophy since he was born. Kaká said last night: "My agent called last week and said that Manchester were interested in me. I was so excited at the thought of all those great players, the traditions, the best coach in the world, and of course Gemma Atkinson's magnificent charlies. "I packed an overnight bag and we went to the airport, but as we were walking through the terminal my agent turned to me and said 'oh, in case I didn't mention, it's Manchester City. "I stopped dead in my tracks and said, 'are you having a laugh? Seriously, is this some big fecking joke?'. "He said to me, 'don't worry, they're a really big club with loads of money. And then there's Mark Hughes'. "I said, 'I already play for a really big club, I've got loads of money and what, in the name of God, is a 'Mark Hughes'?'" He added: "I walked away shouting, 'go and get me a proper deal from a proper English club that does not include the word 'city'. No Hulls, no Birminghams, and no fecking Stokes!'" Manchester City said last night they still hoped to complete the deal if they can persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to sign for the club and act as Kaká's butler. Title: Re: Kaka Post by: STFC_Gazza on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 10:42:14 City truly are a laughing stock. Got Bellamy but Kaka said no and robinho's done a runner :)
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Colin Todd on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 13:23:05 I'm not really sure that not getting kaka and signing Bellamy (who might be a cunt but he's good when fit) makes them more of a laughing stock than spurs, who couldnt even sign bellamy
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: STFC_Gazza on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 13:25:39 who couldnt even sign bellamy Only because West Ham wouldn't sell to them.Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Colin Todd on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 13:36:56 Only because West Ham wouldn't sell to them. nothing to do with being outbid by city then? Title: Re: Kaka Post by: tans on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 13:46:46 Rumour has it there was a gentlemans pact between Redknapp and Hughes.
If Hughes didnt bid for Palacios, Redknapp wouldnt bid for Bellamy etc. Either that or the wife swapping went wrong Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 16:26:19 Why would being outbid by a club bankrolled by some of the richest people in the world make you a laughing stock. What a bizarre thing to say.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: RobertT on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 19:30:18 You are right, managing to get one of the more talented/expensive teams to the bottom of the Premier League below such stellar squads as Stoke's was far more likely to fit that bill for Spurs.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 20:26:06 Spurs are ahead of Stoke though.
Title: Re: Kaka Post by: DiV on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 21:59:21 Bellamy would have never of gone to Spurs anyway.
