CGH was empty saturday,i got served right away,Holloway is an off the cuff kind of guy and has footy running through his veins,at Port Vale some years ago our match was called off ,we wernt happy as it was only an hour before kick off....Holloway made a point of chatting and having a laugh with the Town fans..he was there scouting.
He isnt a manager probably had some buisness in Swindon and decided to see the match and thats all really.

I would say at this point there is a 0% chance of the Bristol-Rovers-supporting-clown ever being Swindon Town manager whilst Fitton is in charge here.

I think there is something in it. Let's be honest Fitton is going to deny the rumour whether Holloway has been approached or not. He's not going to say "yeah he was here and we have been talking" is he? And why the hell would IH choose the Town End to watch the game? Isn't that just a bit bizzare? If he's in the Arkells it would be too obvious unless he says he was scouting (which he clearly hasn't done). I just think Ian Holloway turning up in the Town End for a random game of football is a bit far fetched.

If I was sniffing 'round the Poxford job and was a well known Swindon fan I'd hardly pitch up in the London Road (that dates it) on a Saturday afternoon. I'd have worked out in advance to sit somewhere a little more friendlier....
