Will Bale still be with Spurs next week as surely the Madrid deal will soon be completed?

Testing me out early on with a bit of trolling?  Smug Fuck Off

Bale won't be sold. We bought Paulinho with the promise to him that Bale will stay, and reportedly promised the same to AVB in order to keep him from PSG.

The club also yesterday unveiled this poster in Times Square:

It would be highly embarrassing if we then sold him!

Hi all!

Spurs fan coming in peace. I've noticed we seem to be striking up a bit of a partnership, so I thought I'd sign up to keep up to date with how the loanees are getting on.

I'm also coming down to The County Ground on Tuesday for our friendly - there's a fair few us of coming (considering it's a midweek away friendly!), and we're going to try and make it a fun night, so hopefully we can make a bit of an atmosphere.

Anyway, nice to be here, Come on You Spurs!
At least 1,000 I understand, and the away fans bar will be open for you!!

Oh really?

When I said a fair few coming down, I just meant a few of us from www.thefightingcock.co.uk are going.

We've started the 1882 movement - we go to Youth Games and try and give the youngsters a taste of the first team experience. 2000 of us went to Arsenal away at Barnet in the U21 league and made a right racket!

This won't be anywhere near as good as that, but you get the idea.

Was at a meeting last night - reported elsewhere on this forum - and the operations manager in response to a question about away supporters facilities stated that about 1,000 were expected and all away facilities would be opened for them (apparently the away facilities were very underused last season on certain games).

I have a fear that Pritchard won't get the chance to show what he can do in League 1 as he'll probably be a marked man and will repeatedly be kicked up in the air, we'll see in less than a month  though!

I'd say that's true of any player that has a good reputation though, Ritchie for example. It'll take time but he'll have to deal with it.

I know friendlies mean fuck all, this one has felt a little on the dissjointed side so far. Not sure why but I don't really mean the results, probably the uncertainty of who will be here come September and the fact I've only seen 45 minutes with a reasonably strong team.
