The West Wing - 1 word for it Class
House - Funny and well worth a watch
Gavin and Stacey - a little bit pants, although I have never really seen more that 1 episode at a time
Dexter - Funny, Dark and you end up rooting for a serial killer to carry on killing.
NCIS / CSI - harmless Yank entertainment.
Dr. Who - I used to hate it, mainly because everyone I know (Yeo) wet there pants over how good it was, but I have actualy seen a few episodes and its not as bad as I though it would be
The Wire - I really liked it until all the media jumped on the bandwagon now its getting a little old (although its first season was very good)
I have just noticed how much American TV I watch - do BBC and ITV actually make decent programmes any more? I supposed Top Gear, but thats had its best days long ago

For anyone who has just started watching The Thick of It and is catching up don't forget to see the two hour long specials they did. Not only are they brilliant but they also exlain moreof the story about how malcolm has stayed in position for so long they also introduce ben swain, baldemort - julius Nicholson and jamie - Malcolm's feral attack dog as seen in In The Loop.
Oh and Qi and university challenge and We Need Answers.

One of my fav shows is Dexter, a serial killer with a difference! For anyone watching the latest series, Hello, Dexter Morgan!! what a ending!!
Ooh yeah, forgot about Dexter, I fucking love it. When you say latest series, do you mean series 3? Series 4 doesn't air over here until next year if I remember correctly.

the wire is great and ended just at the right time. unlike ER which was also great but went on five years too long.

The Wire and the Sopranos are the best programmes ever made in my opinion.
Other than that, I largely waste my days watching:
FWord Simpsons Planet Earth 24 Gavin & Stacey Inbetweeners Restaurant Saturday kitchen Spooks

I've just finished the last episodes of series 7 West Wing, there is now a massive hole in my life! Currently catching up with Fringe, pretty good in an x files type of way.
